A Train Journey for a get together with some old students on way to Mussoorie, Uttara Khund, India. We eight or nine of us traveling from New Delhi to Dehra Dun , the last train point to Mussoorie a beautiful hill station where we studied in a boarding school ‘Shishu Niketan’.

A few friends came from Thailand, UK and Kenya while rest of us were from Delhi for the get together. It is always very nostalgic at these get together, but in our case it was the ultimate. The reason being the estate that housed our school now is a base for Indo Tibetan Border Police Academy, after our school shifted to Dehra Dun valley with a new name. So the original identity gets lost in such a situation.

One of our friends retired as a Brigadier joined as principal of Central Reserve Police Force Academy based in Gurgaon. He had officially applied to visit the Caineville House Estate for a visit with old students of once upon a time this place housed Shishu Niketan. So this time we knew we will be going through each spot that held our memories. Earlier than this we could just visit the main courtyard and return, but this time it was different and really after the visit it was most satisfying. That mystery to how it is being used by the current owners.

This image is of our friend Tarjeet Singh Khanijou from Bangkok, Thailand taken after a our breakfast served in Dehra Dun Shatabdi Train that leaves New Delhi station around 06:00 hours. To catch the train all of us must have got up at 04:00 hours. After a catch with jokes and amusing moments of our past school days remembering friends who were not there and were still out of touch. There always gives a time for relaxation. And this one of those moments.
